The World Health Organization (WHO) is showing grave concerns about the recent new wave of Covid-19 in Europe as many European countries are battling a new wave of Coronavirus.

Europe Battles a New Wave of COVID
Dr. Hans Kluge also states that improved inoculation uptake along with the right application of necessary public health measures and precise medicinal treatments can mitigate the soaring COVID spread.
He further said that compulsory vaccination uptake should be considered as a measure of last resort—- (but that it would be very timely to have a legal and societal debate about the issue). And the Covid pass is not a limitation of freedom, but it is an instrument to have our freedom.
Austria is the first country that has announced Covid-19 vaccination will be a legal requirement with effect from February along with another set of rules. The details of how the new rules will be enforced are still under discussion.
Low vaccination levels and record high COVID cases resulted in the national lockdown and these new rule enforcement announcements.
According to Alexander Schallenberg (Austrian Chancellor), it was one of the challenging decisions to take in an open (free) society, but to break this vicious circle of virus spread only vaccination can help us all.
He further said to BBC that this is problematic for all of us a whole society because even those people who are fully vaccinated if they don’t get entree to an intensive care unit (ICU) because they’re stopped by those COVID patients who haven’t got vaccinated, this way they will also suffer.
In the capital Vienna, a huge number of people (tens of thousands) protested against the new rules and measures. Several people waved signs with different slogans like “no to vaccination” and “enough is enough”.
Various other European nations are also imposing new safety measures in response to record increase in COVID cases.
The Czech Republic and Slovakia have also recently broadcasted new limits on unvaccinated individuals keeping in view growing cases across Europe.

Germany’s Health Minister Jens Spahn labeled the existing situation as a great national emergency and rebuffed to prelude another country-wide lockdown.
UK’s government has unswervingly said it has no policies to impose another lockdown for England, but the nation could bring in extra and strict Covid measures – you can say it a Plan B – to safeguard the NHS. These measures would include such basic and mandatory Covid measures including passports for a few indoor sites, necessary face coverings in indoor surroundings and for office employees, work from home will be advisable.
